well, im just wanting to know what the views are from around the globe, because the people i have met, were ever i have been are like hi...you ok...what job you do...im in the navy... nice to meeting you,bye... why is that????im a nice enough guy!lol, im thinking now, the uniform just may not do anymore???what you all think???when you are away for a few months on a tour, theres nothing better than knowing youl have the women you love standing there when you get back to give you a great big hug and a kiss....the problem...finding her!!!lol
My son is at the Navel Linguistics Acadamy in CA.....we are very proud of him in his uniform....and he wears it with much dignity....no matter what is happening we should be proud of our military men and women.....
sounds like the people u have met don't understand why u are wearing the uniform. as for me the uniform doesn't make the man wearing it. it just means that he or she is doing something for their country. be proud of what u are doing. most of us civilians are. at least the ones that give a d--. keep up the good work and stay safe.
You're reply deserves a lengthy response, one which I'm afraid I can't make right now because I've been trying to put myself to sleep for the last several hours with a bottle of wine. One thing I will say however, is that the current generation of cops, and this started well before the year 2000, is little more than a bunch of power mad freaks who know little or nothing about The Constitution (not their fault, but the govt's fault), or The Bill of Rights. I know that may sound rather strong to people today, but people have been conditioned to surrender their rights. I do know this from first hand experience (when I was trained to be a cop, I was NOT trained to be a para-military occupation force). Oh, and one more point, police officers ARE civilians. They are civil authorities, they ARE NOT military, and it is not proper or correct to refer to them as other than civilians.
I will admit it always catches my attention-A man In uniform, but looking at how he carries himself and where his attention is Centered (Such as another women by his side-In your case his mates by his side) How he is behaving. There are some men I would love to get out of their uniform, and others can stay in. Dont worry you will find your girl soon, sometimes it takes time.
Thanx for serving, I am sure your doing a great job!!!
This wouldn't be the same traffic warden that had words with ya whilst you were stood in your under-crackers in the middle of the carpark getting changed last Saturday, would it Bully?? And broad daylight?? Couldn't ya find somewhere more conspicuous then??
But don't worry, my Royal Navy friend, uniforms??? Oh yessss......!! (Right, off for a lay down now...... phewwww!!).
