But if you are dating more than one then isn't it possible to get mixed up when dating? I think one should get to know themselves before they get to know others but getting to know others helps one to get to know themselves.

the thing here is the question of friends. what do friends do. they don't get dresed up for dinner. they don't do a lot of things that you do when you date so what are you wanting? friends or a date.

Some girls that rush things a little to much scares the crap out of me. Nowadays I really do take my time as I have no desire to rush into a bad relationship that´ll last a year tops.

I thought this was a great thread that Kristi started. I have been meaning to get back to it when I could make a more rational reply to it. I really think it is a loaded thread in its contents about how people can view commitment versus dating. I mean it can be hard to separate at times and with friends one doesn't have to be fancy and can be more at ease in my opinion.

I know what you mean about the fear of getting hooked with the wrong one. I am glad that you have the maturity to take your time. I mean its your life and your decision. Once one leaves the single state then things can change. I think that is why the marriage vow states for better or for worse. I wonder how many people bank on the "for better" but really don't anticipate the "for worse".

Dating is fine, sounding the ground is fine, see what happens is fine, rushing is not...
But, having said that I would not date more than one person at a time.

There is nothing wrong with dating, as long as you live close enough to date. or find a rich person with his own private jet. Some people cant afford to travel back and forth fromone end of the United States ,or around the world..

but also i have found on the internet datting PPL Move way to fast into the forever thing , it would be nice to get to know someone on this site take your time and then meet if its right.
