RE: Glasses or no glasses?

Wore contacts when I was 18 and had a very bad infection which almost made me lose the sight from my right eye, so decided that no contacts for me, take it or leave it.

i do take them specs off though; to sleep, read and do other things in bed.

RE: so... who are the couples on cs???

for the first time, I've managed to read entirely one of your posts,

Just Kidding

What you've said there is perfectly true!

And exposing things in forums may ruin whatever there is, even a potential friendship...

I know what it means and how it feels, cos I was the culprit!

RE: would u get into a hotub with the one above

I've got some chocolate indulgence cream bath here,

Anybody wants some?

RE: which came first ? -the chicken or the egg?

The answer to this is elementary my dear Watson

There was this bird (which was not a chicken) that laid an egg, and when the egg hatched the bird freaked out because its chick did not exactly look like it should be, that is, it did not look like its parent bird. A mutation had occurred and the first chicken was born.

So the answer is, the egg came first!!

That my dear Watson is evolution

RE: does thank you mean no thank you

at least that is a form of reply, true it means no thank you, but stil a decent reply at that

RE: I need cheering up

I'd better change the pic then, cos i might give myself away...and that would be too personal...rolling on the floor laughing

However, I have a feeling that the person who started this thread is somewhat feeling a little more cheered up...

So I would say three cheers cheers cheers cheers

RE: Old Remedies

I hope the person who gave me this potion won't sue me for copyright!!!

1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger

1 teaspoon honey

2 teaspoons lemon juice (preferably fresh)

Seep ginger in freshly boiled water for about 2/3 minutes. (small glass) Add lemon, and honey. Stir. Sip slowly... ;)

No limits to how many you can drink a day: no list of side effects to this one! Oh and you can drive...it won't make you drowsy!

Dying (very true)

First I was dying to finish my high school and start college.
And then I was dying to finish college and start working.
Then I was dying to find love, marry and have children;
and then I was dying for my children to grow old enough so I could go back to work.
Then i was dying to retire.
Now I am dying and suddenly I realised I forgot to live.

Please don't let this happen to you. Appreciate your current situation and enjoy every day!

RE: What intimidates men the most?

Some intelligent women with a good career are also intimidated by guys who are at their same level...

...I think

RE: The dreaded question....

Honesty is always paramount, not only at the start of any potential relationship, but in life in general.

Having said that, you should ask yourself, why was the question posed in the first place and perhaps revert back the question to the person who put it forward in the first place.

Do you consider your past as a hurdle to starting something with someone you really like. Doesn't everybody have a past!

I have learnt that past is past, it has nurtured me into who I am today, into what I want and need in my present and future. And, if my past influences somebody's opinion about me in a negative way, then that is really not my problem but his or hers.

I really hope this is not your case and I do wish you luck, because at the end of day, it is what you are today that matters, and that is how others should see you!

First woman speaker of the house in the US, what do you all think?

So now it happened?

Comments?

RE: The problem with forums is interpretations

My comments should always be taken with a pinch of salt unless I am responding to a thread where the subject is somewhat more serious!

So I hope nobody gets offended!

RE: do you prefer

Definitely a Hard hat, especially when I am on this site!!

rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

RE: Physical faults

It is the personality that really matters, looks are important only up to a certain extent, after all nobody is perfect.

A picture can only say a little about a person, it gives an impression of how a person looks in a certain situation, a particular moment or posture. Its an instant in the person's life.

I tend to joke about all my imperfections, nobody has ever seen nostrils my size, you could stick an entire hand in each one!

So..

does that make me a different person,

absolutely not!!

I wouldn't worry too much if I were you

RE: Your interpretation requested...

The word power is the key!

Seems to me we dedicate too much energy to negative thoughts sometimes.

RE: Your interpretation requested...

I don't agree with you there, principles should never change

RE: Tasting women

RE: hows the single life????????

RE: I had a horrible broken heart once

Well said!!!

RE: I had a horrible broken heart once

It is enlightening when we start to make a distinction between what we really want and what we really need

They are not one and the same thing

RE: Tasting women

I prefer pears

RE: Use 1 word to describe your secret CS crush
