I am thinking about getting contacts for the first time in my life. I've been told I look a whole lot better without glasses.

So I am kind of taking a poll here. On a PHYSICAL level ONLY are you attracted to someone who wears glasses or someone who don't? We are talking about first impressions only here. Thanks for your opinions.

Dude, in my opinion. It can go either way. You can give it a try, although you know the damage you can be creating to your eyeballs if you were contacts. It puts grooves in them. I say if you really want to make a change it is entirely up to you. What harm is there in giving it a try? I say you pick a day where you will be doing mostly outdoor activity, like walking in a mall. Give yourself the prep time desired to go out, fully observant and see if you might try again. Could it be the new you? Or are you more comfortable the way you are now? That is the real question you should ask yourself. To change, or not to change?

From my experiences, I see women with glasses and without. It is 50/50. Most of the time they just look really really cute to me. It's your call.

Oh yeah, one more thing. If you decide to try it, give us an update on how things went. If you noticed a change, feel different, like them or whatever else. I don't know about everyone else, but I am most interested in hearing about it.

Well, to be honest with ya man, i have had glasses for a few years now, and i tried contacts but i couldnt get them inmy eye so the eye doc said i couldnt have them unless i could put the first set in there in his office. Took me a little over an hour and still couldnt get them to stay in my eyeball. LoL so i say glasses are less troublelaugh

Contacts are really fiddly things,i tried em once,i couldn't get used to the messing about i had to do to try to put them in.I think i look better in glasses anyway and am used to them,i've been wearing em since i was 9.
If you drop em on the floor you have to rinse em to get rid of the crap stuck to em,get em inside out you have to try and work out which side is which rolling on the floor laughing

I have worn glasses for 28 years 24/7 and I am still embarrassed of them. I take them off for pictures, parties, and even when I see a cute guy. You would think after 28 years, I would have accepted them.

I did try contacts about 3 years ago. I was SO excited the day I got them!! BUT they didnt work with my eyes and I am not a candidate for Lasik surgery. sigh

I don't have a peference between women who do or don't wear glasses.

That said...

I have done both, and am currently wearing glasses. For me glasses are more reliable, and less hassle most of the time. The one main exception being, disposable contacts are great for lake activities.

Another difference that might interest some people. I found it noticeably easier to gain, and hold, someones attention through eye contact, while wearing contacts.

I prefer men without glasses, but what really makes the difference is, if he does wear them, the style and color of the frames. The right pair of frames makes all the difference in the world as to what is the most flattering.

Wore contacts when I was 18 and had a very bad infection which almost made me lose the sight from my right eye, so decided that no contacts for me, take it or leave it.

i do take them specs off though; to sleep, read and do other things in bed.
