sophistication is not arrogance.

Someone who have a lot of experience and do think, care about things that are socially important;

Someone who gives opinions in a humbled way that conveys, expects comments or other views;

Because of expecting others views, doesn't get pissed when he is wrong, he can laugh of how he'd been stupidly wrong;

Someone who is caring, giving-not selfish;

Someone who doesnt charge to give others a smile;

Bcause he is not arrogant, he can jump from wearing a nice suit to get his hands dirty and clean them up well latter;

Someone who is aware of what's going on in the world and does what he can to diminish harms...

basicly a thinker, a critic, who does is with a smile, confident but still knows that life is good!

I think that’s a good definition of “sophisticated” I have seen some very dumb and stupid sophisticated people.

Sophisticated comes from the word sophist/sophistry: a subtle, tricky, superficially plausible, but generally fallacious method of reasoning.

I define sophisticated as outwardly flashy and charismatic, but inwardly insecure. This is merely my opinion based on the semantics associated with the word. Perhaps sophisticated wasn't exactly the word you were looking for?

Maybe Distinguished?

Not if they are stuffy. LIke men who look good in jeans or shorts and likes to do outside things, like camping and boating and the beach.
