im having a great day thank you.i have no problem with the life my army buddie chooses.you know as well as i do they come home to nothing even after defending our country.
As for winning this subject, its not a competition! There's no need for one-upmanship!!
But, the last point you make is so very valid. Even when they are horrendously injured, unable to continue a career or even work, and their lives fall apart, the Govt just turns a blind eye. They are worthy of a lot more respect but they just get forgotten by those in a position to do anything about it. The veterans of Vietnam suffered greatly also, its an outrage!!
