What is a GOOD PROFILE ? To PIC or NOT to PIC ? ( Archived) (10)

I think I have a decent profile in regards to information of myself and what I like in a mate. I know that my pic is not too good, circumstances of the day type of thing. The pic is baisically the way I am except I do mormally have my hair in a pony-tail.

When I update my pic, do I need to be more 'Dressy' or stay the way I am in everyday life ?

Would it be better to fake it now and explain it later or just be me and try to make up for it later.

I don't have alot to work with in the looks department so I come to the advice Dept, yeah that's all you folks with wisdom out there.

Don't use me for a shooting gallery too bad, I would appreciate helpful advice, corrective criticism is good and will check back later, taking myself to dinner.

i think you should maybe show the dressy side and casual side too you can upload up to 3 pics

Not being photogenic myself, therefore very few photos...here's what I did and not even saying it works, but it's real for me...

One, dressed up in yoddling suit, Danube River...hopefully showing some signs of "culture" however ridiculous.

Two, unshaven and as one friend puts it...tired looking, but my other friend says human (as opposed to Alien, right Cherie)

Like Laurie says, show your diversity...and you can't go wrong

This is an area I have trouble with. I have after much internal debate posted my Pic. It's true you get way more notice when you have a pic. That irritated me to no end cause I wanted someone to like me for me not what I look like. The truth is it's part of the package like it or not!Try to reflect your personality is the best advice I can offer

I think a picture helps because there is an option in search that says with pictures only. Sometimes I will pass by a profile if there is no picture and little info.

It's nice to get a few pictures to work with if you decide you want to use them later, or send them in private to someone who finds you interesting.

once again ur right bella i agree with you i have lots of pics on my computer at home after you have them there its easier to choose to use them or not

lol.i keep my usb cable thing plugged in to my computer for just that reason lol.
I post non glamorous pics also because i am not a clothes horse so why come off as one.I suggest like the others,a pic which shows you smiling(mugshots turn on very few)and maybe doing something you like( smutty pics you can send to me,lol).

hi i think your pic is fine as is........yes put a pic on your profile,........... you are who you are no matter who we are......personality is a must for me not a pic babe.........if people dont like ya pic they dont have to look at it .......... simple as and if they base things just on a pic then they are shallow ......personality speaks volumes hun xx louisa
