i prefer to question what will be the outcome of euthanasia, like the next step....
like who benefits in the long run?
its scary....

"in politics, nothing happens by chance"- president F.D.ROOSEVELT.

imagine that eventually someone CAN HAVE the power to take your waking life LEGALLY. just because you have a different POV,personality trait, way of life, or different skin colour, etc etc....
and theres nothing you can do about it.

Ohh... I've not replied to the forums before, but this has gotten my attention for sure.

Regarding the idea of euthanasia, I'm a supporter of it, but only in the cases where people suffer great pain due to conditions, disorders and so on. It's certainly something that needs to be carefully monitored so that it is not abused however.

You know what annoys me though?? Dogs and cats etc. get better treatment in their last days compared to humans! If you refuse to have a pet put to sleep, you can (in theory) be prosecuted, and yet it's ok to apply such principles to humans. Go figure!

Boy, ain't that a question.

Well there are definetely many points of view:
. personal
. ethical
. philosophycal
. biblical
. medical
. human

etc etc etc.

My personal opinion:
Passive: If somebody cannot sustain life by her/him self, when brain is not functioning by itself, when respiration and heart functions are not on auto-pilot, tecnically it is not euthanasia.

Active:
To divide in 2 parts:
1. We end critical life sustaining sources. (also to be known as passive activity) and let the body do the rest.
Too me, although taking action, is passive and thus not euthanesia.

2. To and a life actively, by adding to the body any kind of substance or actively denying the body life-necessary essentials (food/oxigene) or poisoning the body or any harm done to the body that causes instanty death: that's murder.
You take a life that belongs to God.

However:

There is known a term that is called: Mercy kill.
A rabbit you just hit with your car.
A deer, shot but not dead.
A horse with a broken leg.

We kill them, knowing we did a good deed, they would have died a miserable death.

That's not euthanasia, but mercy.

I'd like to know if anyone has heard of risen organ-donation - as in more passes having been issued dunno since the TV show was screend.

The news said, conversing after the show there had been 1600 passes cool iissued in Netherlands.

What about other nations?

Or was it only discussed while it was still shocking an then when it turned out to be actors the issue was dropped...? blues
