I need to be loved,
But don't want to be needy,
I need to be held,
But don't want to be seedy.
There is so much that I need to say,
But if I do, will it scare you away?
I'm tired of hurting, and being hurt,
If I make a mistake, will you desert?
It's not my intention to make you sad,
If I trip and fall, its not that I'm bad.
I want so much for you to be happy,
I don't want to be what makes you feel crappy.
I'm a good man, who's been thru alot,
I'm just trying to live as I have been taught.
I want you to love me, but not with a lie,
I'd rather die than make you cry.
I need to be loved,

Simply put, I need you to be.
The world is a much brighter place,
With you smiling at me,
A frown or put-down hurts to the core,
Yet I will come back and ask you for more.
