Yup...same here. We just don't write by hand enough I think...every time you do it must refresh your memory. Typing just ain't the same. And then there's texting... Just a thought.
Richard Feynman, Physics nobel winner once said: many teachers at the university come and find me and complain that students, after 4 years at Univ. they can't even write the word "friend"!! And i told them that it is the way the word is written that causes such confusion. It would be better to write words the same way we spell them. The literature and the beauty of any language wouldn't be affected by such convensions". I share Feynman's opinion.

I sometimes get typos but words are a part of my life so I tend not to have a problem with spelling; right now I am having a semi-colon attack though, as I was reading a book on punctuation.
