I loved Geoffrey Rush in that film in particular...wow he's a watchable actor! Great, great film though! Queen Elizabeth made this country...oh yes. Good choice!

Timmigen, Ghangus Kahn.

This was a person that you just simply did not mess with. When the midde east killed his merchants, he did not play about it, not just beat the offending countrries imto submission, he took over the countries, and then killed all their politicians, then put his own government in.
Not only that, but when he outlined the laws for his land, they were in many ways more advanced than any other country, and still used in designing laws today in most countries. His military tactics are still used today as well.
Timmigen had more understandings of political issues, social issues, and military warfare than most of his counter parts. Much of what he did between 1245-1275 still has effects on many issues in society today, and that is saying a lot.
