my gran always hated birds, you could not even give her a christmas card with a robin on, and it was because a bird flew in her house years earlier and landed on her sisters photo just hours before she recieved the news of her death

As a cancer child in the sign of the zodiac. Not that i'm into that stuff!! But, It always seems full moons bring impending disaster. There might be something to that black cat thing too!! Always felt weird when one of those crossed my path. The Devil's face in the smoke at the World Trade Center on 9/11 was more than freaky!!

as far as Animal Totems , I hear it is very bad to have an encounter with a Wolverine. Rumor is when you see one your going to have some trouble as they are rather grumpy to say the least.

My Grandfather and his brother used to go quai; hunting whenever they could, it was like there favorite past time. After his brother passed away a quail landed on the tree in my granpas front yard. He could walk up to it, talk to it, pet it, it didnt matter, the quail stayed. The bird just sat there for days, so now no one in my family is allowed to hunt quail

My totem is the blue heron. How I came to see this was one night I asked to find out what animal my totem was. The next morning I woke up to find a blue heron staring into my window from my neighbors roof. I asked a freind of mine who was had a book on totems and read it to me. Much to my surprise, what he said about the heron matched my personality to a tee.

I'm part Cherokee.... My totem is the hawk... And yes, in big decisions, I'll see one flying or sitting in a tree, or even I'll hear one call.... It's something to think about, and I believe in it, honestly...

Just to throw a proverbial "monkey wrench" in this: beware of owls and deers...studies by psychologists and psychiatrists that deal with those called "abductees"--tabducted by UFO's, show that those 2 animals are used as "screen memories" over and over again , all over the world....why owls and deer????? Very strange.....:)
