AS a smoker i agree with the smoking ban we choose to smoke others dont quite simple really

I dont think so but you can clarify if you wish well im going to be nice and fit soon I'm already nice and fit, well i haven't had any complaints yet Well there are a minority of people in this country who wish to smoke and who wish to smoke in athe pub. Modern airconditioning can, at a cost create smoke free environments in most buildings. What i am saying is what about the rights of commited smoker?
I as a smoker from a personal point of view welcome the opportunity of quitting without having to avoid the pub at all costs.

what about some of the smokers who go in a pud/club dont like to sit in a pub/clud filled with somke i know i dont like it 
me doesnt smoke, but i recon it will incourage crowdes of people stud out side of pubs.

I really do think that there should be smoking and non smoking pubs and clubs. At least give people the choice.

Well, I'm not a smoker but I do think there should be non smoking/smoking pubs and clubs and non smoking/smoking cafes/restaurants etc.
Smokers are obviously aware of the health risks of smoking and I think they should still be able to smoke in a pub.
Also, the government make enough money out of smokers anyway so why should they be allowed to dictate where the smokers can and cannot smoke?

I resent being dictated to , it makes me dig my heels in more.
It will be like being back at school , having to creep around to smoke a cigarette.
If smokers stand too close to public doorways eg. pubs that will be a health and safety matter for keeping exits clear.
How would the drinkers like to be told , so many drinks and that's your limit go elsewhere.
Or give some of them the breathiliser when they are walking drunk around town.
There's a lot more anti-social behaviour that disgusts me more than us smokers.

Im a smoker as well. I will have to change pubs and go to ones that have a garden area.
The rest of my life will not change at all. I can smoke at home and in the street and garden pubs. What more do I need. I never ever smoked at work,buses,trains, cimemas etc.
so nothing changes for me. I will not stand outside a pub. If they dont have a garden I dont go. simple as that. I will not give up smoking to satisfy anyone but myself. If someone doesnt like my smoking. Tough
