or... "lets get married!"

See any difference?

It seems like nowadays, marrieges happen because it is important for a certain situation, it's convenient...not wanting to invalidate the love that might exist, but it just seems that marriege seems to be too official to be funny...

what do you think?

I think you are right one dimensionally....but we think in reality considering what a person wants from her/his partner and if he/she is going to get it throughout his/her married life and when they know for sure that there exists true love between both of them then I think they both will echo "lets get married"...blushing

I think marriage give the sense of responsibility, trusts, security....and above all marriage is mutual agreement that binds two people in their odd and even times without being feeling alone for a single moment.....I think no other bond exists that give you that feeling although I am not married but I atleast have experienced the girlfriend relationship, and till today I am in doubt "will she marry me?"........peace

I was unmarried to a lady for 9 years and I felt all of that. I also felt I should make her know I loved her every day because she was not legally obligated to be there.
