When I was young I feared the night, Alone inside, with myself. A stranger man you'll never meet, I know this for a fact, Because each day, In the mirror, This stranger and I greet.
And yesterday I was depressed Because a girl said to me adieu. But in that darkest night of souls, The blackest sky will turn blue. My hope I watered with a faerie tear And soon the darkness will disappear, And dawn, with smiles and lips to kiss, Will, over the horizon, make my fears remiss.
I didn't like the dark either... rose bushes always scratched at the window...creepy.... I don't like being alone..... and hope.... we have hope.... Nice one here.... Thanks for sharing it....

I feared the night,
Alone inside, with myself.
A stranger man you'll never meet,
I know this for a fact,
Because each day,
In the mirror,
This stranger and I greet.
And yesterday I was depressed
Because a girl said to me adieu.
But in that darkest night of souls,
The blackest sky will turn blue.
My hope I watered with a faerie tear
And soon the darkness will disappear,
And dawn, with smiles and lips to kiss,
Will, over the horizon, make my fears remiss.
