Angela's Ashes by Frank Mc Court.

with all due respect, it's a boring boring and a very depressing book but if it has one positive thing: it stops you complaining about your problems when you think they had it much thougher.

it's not a new book, it's old, second hand and it's borrowed from a friend. My friend enjoyed it. I just can't wait to finish it.

ha ha ha ha! this is a man's world. isn't it?

I'm the man of the house now I'm afraid, my son is too young to do the job. I'm mum and dad. No choice there. I won't change my body for a man's, won't give up my high heels or my lipstick or my dresses but I've got to ensure my kids' future.
