We call them tent catepillars. You can spray them, burn their nests or use TreeHelp Bug Bands (sticky) which go around the trunk of the tree in early spring to keep the bugs from crawling from the ground up into the tree.
No insurance needed.. um insurance for me??? if it kills ya you are the one who needs the insurance.. but it wont.. you will like it.. better than beans everynight.. give babs a break... at least you won't smell lol

every year i dry and pickle mushrooms for the winter. And as for berries and veggies ...tomato,cucumbers,gooseberry, black currant and ...Oh yes last summer i made 35 jars of rasberry jam... now i giving them away to local schools and daycares ...just cannot eat them all by ourself...lol
I used to make blackberry jam. Place I used to live in back when I was married had a mess of blackberry bushes around it. I used to get berries about as big around as my thumb
If I guy showcased on "Ripley's...Believe It Or Not!" can live on rotten meat he lets rot in a jar for over a year, I'm sure you can eat anything form a can. I wouldn't keep something for more than a year, but food that is well-sealed in a can and has no defects in the can such as a dent or especially an outward bubble (this is a gas bubble formed by bacteria) can last for many years. Jams and jellies you can probably eat after 5 years for sure if it still smells fine and doesn't taste like tin.
One sure way of telling if the seal is good is if you hear a sound when opening the jar. It's like opening a carbonated drink. If you don't hear that sound, toss it
