Question to the men - do you dye your hair?

if you do - why do you do it?

Question to the women - what do you think of men that dye thier hair?

I know women have been doing it for years and now there are so many products on the market for men to use as well. If women can do it to make them selves look younger why shouldn't men right!

I don't think it's wrong for men to but my ex used to do this all the time, so now when I see a man that you can tell does it gives me that twinge of ugghhh.

I streak my hair every spring. I have extreamly dark hair. In the spring when the sun hits it, it turns all kinds of neat colors, red, blond, white, black, brown. So I usally highlight it blond, kinda cover the rest. Then come winter again back in black so to speak.

And I like the change. Gives a differnt look in the mirror.

I highlight my hair because of white hair, and it works for me it does the trick wink

And for the men, I LOVE A MAN with white hair, or grey on the sides just so appealing to me love

So seeing a man dying their hair, not appealing to "ME"

I color my hair just to get rid of the grey. I think it would be all white by now and I'm not ready to look as old as I feel. Hey, it's my hair.tongue

My hair has been turning salt & peppery, so I decided to grow it out. It's not wiry or coarse: it actually comes in like a silvery sheen, so I want it.
To do this, I chose an ash blonde, streaked effect so that the grey roots would blend in.

The profile pic is a year old.
My hair was a warmer shade then, and now the colour is as if I had never dyed it.

A few years back I took my son shopping with me, and when we got to the isle, he said, dad maybe you should try this, as he held up a box of Just for Men, so dumbassed me said ok. When we got home, I decided to try it..NEVER going to make that mistake again, for starters, I got the wrong colour, and I even put it on the wrong way, by the time I was finished, I looked like Grocho Marx..everytime my son walked in the room to talk to me, he'd bust out laughing like hell..I was soooooo embarrassed to go to work, I wore a cap all the time
Trust me, that crap takes a looooooooooonnng time to FINALLY wear off, and grow out..next time, to hell with colouring, I'll just shave it off

I have tried once to have highlights added to my hair, and people said it looked fine, but I prefer to leave it alone and its natural color. I prefer the same for the ladies I like....no surgery, no artificial colors, and without make up would be the best too.

I think women look great wearing make up, but I want someone who looks pretty whether they are made up or not. Hopefully they are happy with themselves the way they naturally are.

But Scott pretty is in the eye of the beholder. It has to cme from inside - if you are a happy person it shows.

Pleasant appearance is totally independent

Gray hair on a man is very attractive

A woman with gray hair is beautiful

Dye or not to dye – it is your choice
conversing

But if dying one's hair helps you feeling and looking younger, then it should be done

I totally agree, it has to come from within...and no amount of surgery or make up can change unfulfillment from inside. That inner happiness is most attractive indeed....make up aside!

Oh I have beautiful silver hair ... but unfortunately not enough at this time to have it look good .... so thank goodness for hair dye because otherwise right now my hair looks very drab. The good part about the grey is that it actually takes the hair dye differently so it looks like I have natural highlights (50% at this point!!).

As for men dying their hair ...... don't mind it in the least as long as it looks natural.
