Im not sure to be honest mate......do you mean on here or in real life?
In real life...i wish more people would think i was "approachable."
I think the haircut can be a little to do with this....but im not growing it just so somebody can say hi....

In real life I would like people to notice
that because I come across shy, more quiet and reserved....
that there is a whole lot more to me than that.
On line I don't know if you notice
that I really don't know how to talk to people here,
I don't know how to jump into the conversations like you all do so nicely,
it is foreign to me and I am new at this...
I am being my self.. but on line it is a different kind of friends community...
I am trying though to learn it.

Starynight ... this is the first post that I've seen you make .. and truly I find that you are honest and forthright and its wonderful to see.
So many here seem to say alot without saying much about themselves as it seems that they don't want to make themselves vulnerable and open. Its easier to hide behind humor etc. then to share about who they really are ... so you are a breathe of fresh air.
I too in real life am quite quiet and reserved on alot of occasions and as with you there is a heck of lot more to me than that as well, but I find that most people are too busy talking about themselves to bother with another. Hence I'm quiet alot of the time and used to keep alot of things to myself - problem with that was I was getting lonely ... so for me its better to have a few close people to share with as I know that I don't have the time and energy to know a whole bunch of people "in depth" and those are the types of friendships that I personally find the most rewarding.
As for jumping into conversations here online ... well its actually quite easy .... just put in your two cents like everyone else. Sometimes people will comment back to you ... alot more times it doesn't happen, but rest assured that your comments are read by others - they just don't always respond to them.

Thanks. I also think I should smile more often. Most of the time, I seem to look threatening. Not so. I’m to an extent a very she man. Deep inside, I’m a gentle and caring man. One of the many things that I enjoy doing most of the time, is reaching out to make some one feel comfortable.
