Hmmmm good question! :o)

I like somewhere warm too but somewhere quiet as well. I also love the outdoors so even somewhere near mountains and by a nice lake. You know somewhere private and peaceful and serene. But also not too far from civilization of course. Not in the boonies in other words lol

Tracy :o)

I used to think I would want to live in Maine, but then I realized I HATE cold. Now I have no particular preferance, although in the mountains near a lake would be nice.Thats where I lived when I was a kid.

I think I would like to have a couple places to go.

*Any place where I can space to be myself is appealing, like out in the country. Not so far away, but far away to have security from development.

I dont think I would live anywhere else except Australia, the climate is beautiful and the beaches are to die for.

Speaking from experience and not just "dreaming"... Had to live in Barbados for a few years, and it was the equivalent to hell on earth being a white woman. Canada wasn't much better, but the US is where I have decided to stay. Much nicer than both put together.

That would be a hard choice. It would be between the Hill Country region in Tx, Ireland, or Bahamas.

In all honesty I would most likely return to my hometown of Mt Forest, Ontario or atleast not very far away.

I'v lived in the Caribbean (Hurricanes. Understanding the local mentality is not as easy as everyone thinks). Lived in England/visited Ireland (Bland weather all year round!). Currently live in Colorado (had to adjust to altitude and a six month bleed. but its beautiful none the less).
I hear Down-Under is great (If you also like venomous spiders and snakes, and the world's deadliest ants. I dont swim much, so I'm not even going to mention shark attacks!)
New York is a place sometimes mentioned (unfriendly people. Ridiculous property prices)

Given an option of living somewhere other than Colorado (which I love, by the way). I'd opt for the coastal region of the Southern African country of Namibia (especially the towns of Walvis Bay and Windhoek) . Brad and Angelina did. Intriguing African and German influences. Great coatal climate. Pristine beaches. Excellent sea food. Property prices are very affordable. Culture might take some getting used to

I love living on Maui but if I do ever leave for other locale I would probably live in New Zealand. I fell in love with it when I visited a couple of years ago. :)
