awww, sorry to know that Christina.... how do you handle being single and do you feel being single gave you perspective to things in life?

Some people that are single actually like it that way, being alone. But truthfully those that are single are not really alone. They have someone around them, someone they see. But can say...even if there is a relationship, that they are single. Because they live alone.

after that lonely relationship, yes, being single again gave me good perspectives in life!
This is the longest period i'm single. i guess because i don't want to fail the next time. I remember being too bold in approaching guys...now, i'm more reserved, at least in real life
at the end, we are always welcome to them...then, hell comes! But i'm wiser enough to wait and think:
1- it's just the beggining
2- we are just getting to know each other
3- we are have a crises
4- i must be strong!
I'm this wiser...
So, i need a wiser, a guy with balls that don't move!

No, if anything else...careful not to get hurt because having been hurt. Want to be around someone, sure. Dating, well....yea, i date. Not just anyone and does not mean then go home in bed. Has to be something there for me for that. Well, and her also. And a date can be pretty cool, get to know the other....have some fun.

yeah, i do the same thing myself, I do let the loneliness feelings talk and walk for me. I learn about myself and i will keep learning about myself to the point of wanting to only do positive things when Im singles.

Yes, I do the same thing myself, I DONT let loneliness feelings dictate how I talk and walk .. I learned alot about myself and will keep learning to the point of wanting only to do positivie things , while Im single!
However, it does happen alot and I think its a phase one go thru in life while they are single! No judgement here in my part!

I have actually felt more lonely in a relationship than being without one, although there are times when I really miss having a special other in my life. I value conversation and the exchange of ideas very much.
I think once one discovers that we create our own happiness and are responsible for our own lives it gets really easy to be single and not lonely.
However I think human beings just naturally prefer to have company. Most of them, anyway.
Doing weird or crazy things to fill up the space we perceive in our life? Oh, yes. I have done some amazing shopping sprees, usually shoes, back in the days before I realised it comes from inside, not outside. Now I get a massage or hot stone treatment on those lonely days. Going for a massage in about an hour today!

yes, that is true, we are human and always in need of interaction with others... yes, i did do the shopping thing too! I go window shopping sometimes just to get things off my mind!
Yes i do get sometimes the yearning to talk to adults and thank god for my job it is always hectic in there and love to lose myself to it!
Also, its nice to come here and discuss thins with a fellow CS!

Hey Charlie, I do the same myself, i either play video games or go outside to waste time...
I say i feel lonely certain time because im human... will not hide that fact, however, im not letting me dictate my life either.. Having true friends and family support always helps me if I go thru those moments in my life!
