What makes u nervous on your first meeting or date? (18)

Sitting waiting for someone to show up - wondering if they really look like thier photo or not.......on a date....to kiss or not to kiss????do I want to - do they want to - what if they want to and I don't...

Well seeing if I can find something to talk about and try to be good company and try not to sit there awkwardly with nothing to say! 
Nervous to find out if the person and picture you have been seeing and talking to is really the person they claim to be. Nervous about conversation, will we have something to talk about. Nervous of what if I am attracted and the feeling isn't mutual. The list goes on and on.
I agree ........ and the more I think I will like this particular person the more nervous I get! Geez my brain goes into overtime mode.

for me its also the waiting and wondering if there pic will be them or if they are older than they actually are...once l have met them face to face evrything seems to go well til its time to say good bye...do l kiss them or just give them a hug or do l just say bye and maybe we can get together again and then walk away....

As for paying the bill most women here don't seem to have a problem with it from what I've seen and are willing to pay their way.
I'd have to say the most confusing part on a first meeting-date is when it comes time to say good bye........can be awkward at times

If it's the first date, then I see no problem with the guy paying. If a relationship developes and both earn, then in this day and age why not share.
I'd agree with you Curlywolf, it's the initial goodbye that is the most awkward moment, although I'm not sure why. Shyness I guess.

Saying goodbye is no biggie....There are plenty of signals, body language, so-called chemistry, that easily point to the type of goodbye.
Never had a problem saying goodbye: Could be nod, handshake, prefunctory hug, longer hug, kiss on the cheek, kiss on the lips, and sometimes......a little tongue hockey

My two biggest concerns is whether or not we will both pass the physical inspection and if the conversation will flow freely with no major awkward silences.
I'd have to agree with Tigger on that,no matter how long u've talked with someone online or the phone the first conversation can be awkward.As for looks well I have a cam and my pic...lol what you see is what you get
What makes me nervous? Besides the obvious - how will the chemistry be live in person, do we pass the physical inspection but the biggest thing that gets me everytime - WHERE TO MEET!?
I Think whoever asks the other person out, should pay the bill, whether It be the man or woman, but if the other person had any class he or she would pay for something.
The thing that makes me most nervous? Fear of not liking the person at all.
