I was getting up for work and turned on CNN and remember seeing the plane crash into the first tower. I woke up my roommate and told her what was going on and then I remember after the first tower was hit, it sunk in that something horrible was happening in America that day. God bless the people who lost their lives, give their families and loved ones the strength to carry on, and god bless the soldiers who fight for our freedom and protect our country from something like this ever happening again.

Last time I checked this site was free and anyone could start a Thread on anything they wanted as long as it wasn't offensive. Sure this subject is everywhere today including the Threads, but you are not the web police, and it is not your place to tell people what they can and can't write about.

Sorry Sassy, i wasnt trying to be mean. Our military men & women are not just in Iraq to keep another 9/11 from happening in this country, but other countrys as well.

Can you tell me what this war is all about? Seems like everytime i see the news their talking about terrisom (sp) & the war. I thought the war started over 9/11. Or was i mislead?

You were mislead.....but then so were a lot of people who believed President Bush and Tony Blair. Lies were told about Iraq's weapons which turned out not to exist. The Iraq terrorist campaign only got going in the chaos after the invasion.
