I have been given a challenge and it is driving me nuts I don't know how the expression is spelt so all I can do is type it as I hear it.....
I have been told that the meaning of the expression changes depending the situation it is used in. Here goes, and probally to the sound of laughter from all who read and understand the expression
"Und vanbin ich dran" or it could be "Und fanbin ich dran" or even "Und vanbin ich drang...its hard to tell
I was told that a male would use this expression to a female with whom he enjoys her company
Why thank you kind sir...I found some very strange translation and even a rude one with the "drang" version of it So any native speakers jump in and help me win the challenge
"and when is my turn?" --- but I cant see a connection with a male uttering that when he enjoys her company other than ( ... throat clear here ... sensiive eyes please look away ... this is going to be an adult-eplanation ....) well, other then when she had had her pleasure and he wants his part of the deal fullfilled...
Are there any other expressions close to the words that I have badly typed? He said I should ask a woman and that it can be used as a compliment for a lady from a man after enjoy each others company
The challenges are going back and forward on a weekly basis and this is the only one that I can't get correct
I KNEW IT!!! Oh My Goodness He knew it would make me blush when I found out,,,wait until I get my hands on him Have you any expressions that I can turn the tables on him
I am not worthy of your wit I am going to have some fun with this one because it has been driving me crazy trying to get it translated and to find a response to banter back at him.
Nope, it wasn't crude at all. I just blush easily and get teased for being a Little Irish Catholic Woman all the time And he sets these challenges for me to find out what my reaction will be when its translated. He normally ends up laughing his head of with what I come up with So now, you have given me the opportunity to surprise him with a comeback
Try to get his replies in writing next time... so there wont be any misunderstandings .... If you have another question let me know I am happy to help. Should I not be on-line you can ask
