I have never been yet but I want to see Pictured Rocks.

I went to High School in Oscoda MI, which is in Iosco co. One of my favorite things was to go canoeing on the AuSable river. We'd go up to Cooke Damn and go all the way to the mouth of the river. On a few occasions we saw Bald Eagles soaring overhead and diving into the river for fish. Also in Iosco co. are some really good cros country ski trails.
I also love Mackinac Island.
Where I live is a town called St. Joseph, it right across the river from the dirty city of Benton Harbor, it has been named Michigans most romantic city by Detroit Free Press. It is very nice town and the beach s excellent.

Its a place where the paths are long and wide. As you walk down the path you see all the beauty of the trees and all that live there. You can hear the birds singing and the chipmunks scamper through the woods as you walk by and on occasion you may even see them scramble. Butterflies are in the air as if they are afloat. The air is fresh as we breath in deeply not knowing when we will smell that smell again. As we walk to the end of the path we hear the running of water such a soothing sound as we look through the trees and see the sun setting over the tree tops in a distance. We walk down a stairway made of wood and closer and closer to some of the most spectacular water falls running through the woods over the rocks with the mist in your face it is truly a site to see. The Tahquamenon Falls right here in our back yard if you have seen it what I said will make since, if you haven't once you do you'll understand. We all need to take time and enjoy the beauty.
