They certainly can influence the way you think about someone or something. The hardest part is setting them asid long enough to find out if an individual is like or different from the stereotype. It's not wrong to have stereotypes stuck in your head or to have prejudices it's what you do with them.
You do have to be ready to quit. I too have tried many times and been unsuccesfull. This time I am using a new drug called Chantix and it really seems to work.
A cajun and an alligator go into a bar. The cajun asks the bartender, "Do you serve Republicns here?" The bartender proudly states, "yes we do" The cajun then says, "good I'll have a beer and give my friend here one of those republicans."
I try to get along with my ex for my kids sake. It's not easy somtimes whne she bring the kids to me and there is her and myex-best friend kissing, hugging and holding hands in her truck.
I have to young children that live in the area. Because of this I am unwilling to relocate unles they do. Since my ex-wife owns a house and is succesful at her job I really don't see them moving anytime soon. So I don't see the point in traveling long distances to meet someone unless they are willing to relcate if things work out. Unfortunately I'm not the only one in this situation so it limits the choices. Right now my kids are far more important in my life than any woman.
I liked it. I thought it greatly illustrated how the Spartas were a military society. I like when the Athenins were asked what they did for a lving and one said he was a sculptur then the Spartans said that they brought more soldiers.
