I have an aussie/border collie as I said on another thread. Whenever my daughter and I hug she comes up and stands on her hind legs and hugs us. She can't stand to be left out.
One of our cats steals things. She'll grab something in her mouth, walk somewhere else with it, drop it and start playing with it.
I have a Golden Retriever named, Harley------ever since her hysterectomy a few years ago, she thinks she's my daughter.... When I shower she has to wait on the floor...If I go outside she barks until I let her out with me....When I do the dishes..she's at my feet....She is a great dog I really didn't know how much I really loved her until she was sick and I had to go the the Pet hospital everyday and sit in her cage so she would eat.....(out of my hands).....Everyday when I come home for work she can actually hear my car....and is waiting by the door.... She is one of my best friends.
I saw a documentary where a film crew visited a dog owner who claimed her dog knew when she came home.
They left one film crew with the dog, and another took the dog owner for a walk without telling her how long it will take. The moment when the interviewer told her (after 25 min. or so) "Lets go back home to your place" the dog at home hopped of the couch and moved to the window waiting for them to return.
They did the same taking the dog owner on a bike ride and on a drive with the car. Every time the dog gut up from where it was the instant the lady owner was told "lets return".
Thats beautiful, I have a cocker spaniel that wont let me out of her sight too, when I pickup the car keys she goes mad looks at me with those adoreable faithful eyes and says "please take me for a ride" , needless to say my passenger seat always has lots of dog fur. When I can't take her she quiet often jumps into the fish pond
this is definetly not cute, but I'll tell the story anyway, last night my pet pitbull got out and we were looking for her (my roommate left the door open) calling her name willow willow ,,,,where are you? and then I hear her growling and barking behing the garage, so I went and looked back there ,and all of a sudden she comes running around the front with a SKUNK in her mouth,,twisting and turning her head.the poor thing look like a wet towel in her mouth..anyway needless to say it was dead and now I can't get the dmn smell off of her......
I think this is a great way to talkmabout those "people" who mean so much to us. I have 10 Hamsters, now. And I pick them up and talk to each one. But none are as friendly as RAT was
