I had a cat many years ago and if you screwed up the silver paper
off a chocolate bar and threw it, she would go and fetch it back
This developed into a nightly ritual whereby after I'd gone to bed
she would come into the bedroom jump, on the bed and drop
a ball of silver paper on the bed
From where the bed was situated I could throw the silver paper ball
over the door,bounce it off a wall and all the way down the stairs
She would then spend the next half hour or so running
up and down the stairs fetching the damn thing
When she'd had enough she simply came back into the bedroom
dropped it on the floor and jumped on the bed and lay there
for a while with her tongue hanging out and panting like a dog
before going back down below to sleep with the dog under the stairs
I never trained her or anything but when she was a kitten
she used to ride round the garden on the dog's back
weird but fun

when i make coffee i have to make our dog Coby one as he wont let me drink mine in peace

Ok, I had a budgie (she just recently died) who would always have something to say. As soon as I came in the door she would start telling me stories like she was trying to tell me what happened in the house while I was gone. If I sneezed she would say bless you. When I turned on the music she would start singing and dancing. Her name was tweetie (I know real original) and she would say, "tweeter, tweeter punkin eater.
She was just the cutest thing ever. I miss her.

of course, you all know about Rat, dying this week. But he provided many hours of entertainment. He came to us by accident, my ex was at the pet store and picked up a package that she didn't know wasn't hers. When she got home and opened the bags, she found this white rat. She called the shop and they said if anyone called to bring ot in, otherwise keep it!!
Anyway one of the most enduring thoughts about Rat, was his care and playfulness with the hamsters. Several times Rat got out of the cage,and he couldn't be found. After looking all over the house, and fearing the worst! We had three cats!!
We would always find him cuddled up with the hampsters or playing with them. he never hurt one or even the babies!!

Many years ago we had a west highland terrier, a westie.
Her first christmas she raided the presents under the tree
and took off all the wrappings.
From then on we made a point of presents just for her which
she would unwrap with great glee.
She never unwrapped anything which was not given to her after that.

My rat that passed away used to grab my finger through his cage and put it on top of his head, he wanted a scratch.
He'd also just sit on my shoulder while I wandered around the house. One of the ones I have now does it too. He also will push his door open to climb into my hand. And he knows his name and will come when I call him. They really are like little dogs. Mine gives kisses too.

My cat "Annabell" just had four kittens about a week ago in my closet. I've got the whole set up in the closet now, whereas before I had a black trunk full of clothes. Now she's got a blanket, food and water so she can hang out in comfort with her babies.

my mum has 4 yorkshier terriers when she goes out 1 winges like a baby and when she comes home after been out 4 a long time they all run to greet her at the door and dive all over her when she sits on the chair all 4 sits beside her and on her lap they just love her.

animals are so sweet!! I recently had to put down my English Pointer...due to epilepsy! He also insisted in going in the bathroom with me. he even climbed in the shower with me! But always, when I would be on the john, he was sitting on my feet!!
