the ladies are friendly;and the river danube is a km away they say you can catch fish; but its beautiful and i walk the dog along the river every day;
'walking the dog' is not my idea of Utopia! 
allays did make good bread in malta; is the market still by the bus station in valletta
Well, I read something about the bakers Union going on strike because they want to raise the price of classic Maltese bread...(it's fantastic!!)...because flour prices have gone up...so maybe even thaat will change!...
oh yea, and is that old lady still at her stall where you buy potatoes? the one who wears a red scarf over her head and ä little poodle sits on a stool, and her daughter sells cheeses just down the alley next to where that shop used to be where they sold those cute shell things made in china with "MALTA" painted on them?
And her cousin who used to run the butchery next to the liquor store.... is his son still in business, or has he retired now .... he used to do shoe repairs ...
