Do you Know how I know? ( Archived) (5)

Sunday I took my two children to the zoo. It was a beautifull day but a bit on the hot side so most of the animals were just laying around. We went to the petting zoo area and they had a section with baby goats. My six year old daughter was very excited to go in and see them. Inside the pen all of the goats were laying down all sprawled out trying to keep cool. My daughter squats down next to one and in about a minute says "This ones a girl" she then stands up and looks at another one that is very obviusly male and proclaims, "but that ones a boy!!"
I say yes it is, about this point other parents and children are tuned into my daughters very loud observations. She then says, "do you want to know how I know"
At this point I'm thinking please don't say it.

Then she says , "Because it has......




HORNS"


I thankfully wiped the sweat off my brow and said yes it does.

I swear it is a true story. I can't make this kind of stuff up.

One day we were traveling to Kentucky and my sister who was 5 at the time screamed from the back seat DADDY DADDY! that cow has 5 legs!My dad almost killed us all trying to stop when he realized she had seen a bull ( we had just passed one of those signs advertising some sort of petting amusement farm on the interstate)
