For the forelorn, just heard an interview with Fred Thompson and his wife. They met at a Kroger's in Nashville. He had beanie weenies and a cold cut sandwich in his cart.

As the others have said. Be positive. Being negative will surely not get you anywhere or any better.
Try to keep yourself occupied. Volunteer somewhere, join some clubs or organizations? Anywhere where you interact with people and get to know new people.
One will never know where they will meet that "someone" Just don't have too much expectations or else you end up disappointed.
Just go with the flow and enjoy yourself and go out and do things and etc.. and eventualy before you know it she will come along!
