Dealing with other women (27)
Moon_dancerRiverton, USA1 Threads 4 PostsI have been in a relationship with a guy for the last 2 years. I know he sees other women. But this last weeked was the first time it was obvious. Strong perfume in the bed, a hair tie left on the bathroom floor.... He said it isn't that he wants to replace me and it isn't anything I had done or hadn't done. I am willing to put up with the other women as long as it isn't rubbed in my face. And I can't help wondering why after 2 years it was. Need some advice on how to handle this.
My dearest moon dancer, it is obivious get a new boyfriend there are plenty more fish in the sea of love.
That would only lead to so much more heartbreak down the track if you were to put up with the other women. It would do your head in. You would be forever thinking what they are doing when he is not with you.
This guy doesn't sound like a good catch anyway for the fact that he is not happy with the one women. Especially if he isn't even trying to hide the fact he is seeing others.
I would cut my losses and move on to greener things as putting up with that situation isn't healthy nor fun.

Maybe I would be smarter to just stay out of the water. I would make a good hermit

I also went to the Dr. to make sure I hadn't caught one of his little "fleas"!

And please dont be afraid to go it out there alone. Life really is quite ok when you are on your own. There are a lot of positives as well as a few negatives, but if you are not happy in a relationship then you are better off to be on your own. Breaking up with him may give him the kick in the pants to appreciate you or he will let you go and then you know he wasn't really worth the energy you are putting in, as it is wasted.
Great you went to the Doc... give yourself a huge pat on the back.
Now look after your emotional side and if he cant give you the answers then leave him and dont look back. If he does come to the party with your requests for a monogomous relationship then that will be awesome too. Good luck Let us know how it all goes..

The poor guy is juggling multiple women! What's one hair tie? Give the guy a break... I'm sure he is trying his best
