I don't "KNOW" anyone, I've been on this site a little over a week. And your comment was "before and after." I understand what you meant, I had no questions about it. It was simple, even superficial, possibly reflective of you. If you need a 21 year old kid to validify that fact that you made a semi-intelligent comment, you should be in therapy, not forums...... Don't yell at me.....

No, not at all...... crushes, infatuation, being smitten and even feeling a real connection with someone online is only natural and human. But LOVE...?? No, of course not..... I think you really need to meet and get to know someone first. All this declaring undying love with someone who is still effectively a stranger on the Internet... that you havent yet met? C'mon..... not very grown up, is it? We get carried away with re-kindled "teenage" feelings that have lay dormant for so long....?
Don't get me wrong.... I am very much a romanticist, I am actually a sensitive and emotional person but I have learned in latter years to be very much a realist as well. That doesn't mean "pessimist".... ohhhh nooo!! I am also the eternal optimist, I just get things a little more in perspective than I used to..... perhaps it can only come with age?
Did you know the greeks had five different words for what we call "love?" I think a "romantic" love fades in and out, and changes in intensity, but it's an enduring love "choice" that keeps a man and a woman constantly struggling to maintain a ride on the crazy "romantic" love 'coaster....
woah, woah, woah....... I never said anything about professing love on the internet, that's scary s**t. I haven't had a real "girlfriend" in a year and a half, because I don't like communicating "feelings." And, I don't think you're a pessimist for wanting to look into someone's eyes to find love, that is romantic.
Simple things for simple minds. If the cap fits, wear it. Superficial? When I talk to a child, I adapt. Intelligence? Say Hi to the others, in therapy. Have a wonderful evening
Thanks, I guess, I get that a lot.... I think I need to post a picture of my license, to prove there are intellectual 21 year olds.... We're just a dying breed.... It's called Rock-a-Billy
according to wiki : Infatuation is the state of being completely carried away by unreasoning passion or love Love is a mental decision to care about someone or something or an intense feeling of affection related to a sense of strong loyalty or profound oneness. Over to you
I don't think you've had the pleasure of being on any of my other strings. I don't talk about "childish" things... I'm no child. If you said "Before and after" to play the "cool big brother" to a child.... wow. I really don't know what to say. Could you take me to a baseball game? Can we play G.I. Joe's? Can we get Ice Cream and throw the football? Can I call you dad? I'm so happy you adapted to my unintelligent swill of a string. I can't wait for you to help raise me to be more like you.....
