What is the difference between infatuation and love? (131)

Also, may be the wrong place to ask this, but is it dangerous or lame or anything negative to get a crush on someone on the internet? I'm very skeptical of it.... it's kind of scary. But, I'm stillmore interested on your thoughts of human nature and the nature of love. Is it an emotion? Is it a feeling? Is it a choice? And how does infatuation fall in with that?

Well I'm certainly no guy...but I have an opinion...
First of all infatuation develops rather rapidly, is based on the emotion itself , is self-centered, changes rapidly, and loses touch with reality.
Love is grown into, focuses on the other person, demonstrates a deep commitment to one person, involves trust and faith and balances life and priorities.
But then... thats JMO

hmmmmm.... what about christians? They're called to love everyone... that's definitely a choice. the Bible even says that love is patient, kind, never boastful, etc. Those aren't things any person naturally feels ever.....
