I say why worry... Terrorists have been around since the dawn of time...Just look what Eve did to Adam ...Just kidding.

I feel that to worry about terrorists is like worrying about a car wreck that kills you on the highway...You don't know when or where a terrorist attack will happen...By being terrified and living in fear the terrorists win...You fight back when you get the chance to fight them, and hopefully you get them...Our so called Dept. of Homeland security is a farse at best, and it has done nothing to curtail the flow of possible terrorists into our country...Going after Iraq, Iran, or any other Muslim country will do nothing but strengthen there resolve and breed more fanatical terrorists...Just ask the people living in the west bank of Israel.
Terrorists are everywhere, and we have NO CONTROL over them or there actions...Our only chance is to find them before they do there cowardly act...My 2 cents.

I agree for everyone that is killed or locked up there is another to take his place..the fight lies within our own countries...to deal with the terrorist cells that exist and to keep the future terrorists out!!!!!!

Bombing another country...does nothing for terrorism...Catching and killing Osama Bin Laden...will not solve the terrorist problem...I promise there is another leader to take his place!!!!!!!!

If people want to talk about leaders funding terrorist regimes...Didn;t the US once fund and befriend both Osama and Sadaam??????? Does that mean that another country should have bombed the crap out of them for funding terrorists???????? Because from my understanding...that's what they are!!!!!!!!!

Its only going to get easier to kill lots of people at once over time. bio, chem, conventional, you name it. It just gets easier to make as high tech becomes commonplace.

We need to minimize the reasons that people want to kill people. And then defend ourselves well from the remaining nut cases.

Regardless of whether we should have invaded Iraq in the first place, we broke it, so we bought it. At least our military is finally waking up and performing real counter-insurgency work (building the economy, infusing the local populace with power, becoming friends with neighborhood leaders, TALKING TO PEOPLE, and stealing the momentum of the insurgents).

I just listened to an interesting story on NPR about interrogation. They had a long time master interrogator with our military talking about how screwed up our policies have been since Bush and company took over the office. Without even consulting with experts in interrogation, they just assumed that brute force was the best way to get information. Wrong. So wrong. There are thousands of papers and years of experience saying otherwise.

Our counter-productive and ineffective interrogation methods are a small scale example of what our country has done all over the world since Bush took office.

I really hope that it's a lesson to the people who voted for Bush, but unfortunately I really doubt it will be. No amount of facts seems to persuade bush supporters/current war supporters. And the facts are out there about levels of dissent in the world and overall terrorist activity since bush started his 'war on terror'.

But you'll never hear about these high quality reports on the news. Fox News, CNN, etc.. are much more concerned about whether Obama is going to wear a war pin or not. Or which candidate screwing around on his wife, or which candidate inhaled, etc.

Thats why no matter what is happening in the world, I always vote for whichever candidate seems like they will support education the most. My only really glimmer of hope is that the country's overall intelligence grows over time.

I find it interesting that the twin towers were supposedly taken down by 19 men from Saudi Arabia yet we attack Afghanistan and then claim Osama is connected to Sadam and then we attack Iraq. I dont believe a word of it. 9-11 was an inside job.

If categorising or invading were the solution .. conflicts , terrorists and naxals would be extinct !!

MM well as i see it in my own small space is we all have free will! Thats in the black book.......okay so we all need direction......we all pay taxes.......we all have bigger beings controlling us......So does one do but gripe cos we cannot do anything else?We know what is happening is wrong......we have no power!.....we have to just be survive be HAppy ra de ra.......Yeah right power to the people...............useless exersize.............Beam me up Scotty..is about it...........
