"Are there any Normal men out there?"..... the answer to this I too would dearly like know.
... But then Damian ( I think it was he) pointed out that the common denominator in relationships gone wrong is the Non-Normal partner?
So, that would mean that instead of it being Me who attracts weirdos, it is the weirdo`s who are attracted to Me? The main problem here, as I see it, is that I am unable to distuinguish (spelling?) them!
Anyone showing themself attracted to me I should avoid.....and I should zero in on the man I am least attracted to?... Oh well, I just going to stay single for the rest of my life, much less painful and more peaceful.
Honestly .... the men I marry, or get involved with, could be the main characters of each chapter in a phsychlogist book on mental illness...... rather confusing to think of myself as the weirdo......"Oh to see ourselves as others see us".....

No, there aren't any normal men anywhere! I've lived in Spain for almost a year, have met 5 on this site. Had 2 dates with one, never heard from him again, met one who thought I had pots of money and expected me to pay for everything(Can you believe it?!) One who sent his mate along to tell me his car had broken down, ended up having coffee with the mate (Who it turned out was also on here!) He asked to see me again, cancelled twice, then re-arranged and stood me up!
Another one, who I really liked, had a great night out, made plans for another date, he then sent me a text to say he'd decided he didn't want a relationship! (I hadn't asked him to marry me...)
I've also met a few men when I've been out on the town, all are drunks, have emotional baggage, vile kids etc etc.... My friends and I have decide they're either boozers or losers! Or both!
And yes, tattoos!

Men in general ? Spaniards of what category .. we self define who we frequent ..right? Or are we talking about hang out pub drunk meetings ?? what one expects .. or is willing to connect with in the first place.. ??
I highly agree with having an own lifestyle and enviroment in the first place.. and take it from there .. 
experiences like this can be made from the Nice to Malta, Ibizza, Alicante or Cancun, the Malidives or Jamaica .. you got to smarten up and now what you don´t want .. before you find what might be the right company ..

In my own defense, allow me to say that my comment about the spanish and their sheep was not my own, but a comment from an english lass who has lived there many years....I for one have never caught anyone in flagranté with his sheep, spanish or otherwise. I wished to insult no-one, in fact I think spanish sheep are probably the best looking sheep in europe...
