It was his sci fi show Firefly made into a pretty decent movie. The network messed up the show totally showing it out of sequence yadda yadda yadda.

Huge Buffy fan but don't recall that episode. I liked her sidekick better than her. But they were both stunners.

At its peak, I thought it was surprisingly good. And I was kind of shocked that Whedon could write such good songs. Who does he think he is -- Andrew L. Webber?

I shouldn't admit this but...I remember the episode and it is one of my favorites. The idea came about one night while the cast was at a Kareoke Bar and the producer realized that they can actually sing! He pulled the script out of a drawer where it had been for awhile and put it into production....

Too bad..when I read this in the paper..I went back and re-watched that episode....really pretty brilliant I think Joss Whedon wrote all the songs...took me back a few years!!
