This week I have had news that my sister is a
tissue match for becoming a kidney donor.
She will have to have further workups as they are
called over the coming weeks with a hospital visit
in January for more tests. All is looking well for a
live kidney transplant which will effectively remove
the need for me to have haemo dialysis.
I am feeling very , very happy

oh babe im so sorry to hear this, im so upset now as i didnt know till now...... If i was in your position think id have a transplant babe, be brave hunni and go for that as it will improve you r quality of life ........i will think of u in my prayers babe

and if I have a live transplant that will remove the need
for haemo dialysis.
on a sad note though , there are some 500 people
a year who die because of the lack of kidneys available
for transplant.
there is a particular lack in both black and asian
groups. anyone wishing to save a life can become an
organ donor. google organ donor
as I did say in an earlier post , one of my sisters

I feel your grief over the sudden passing of your friend and also your
feelings of consolation . You're right about perspective, life can appear fragile
In the grand scheme of things I know already that what is needed is here already
in a world full of the love of people like you and your friends daughter.
