Personally, I think that a woman with a strategicly placed tatoo is hot. Somewhere where you can see part of it but not the whole thing. Sleeves and full body art, is pushing it though.

Tattoos don't turn me off, I can deal with them and have one myself... but plain, generic tattoos like which exists on hundreds of other people, are not very interesting. If you're going to have one, make it original and distinctive.
Also, for the ladies... avoid getting a tattoo that's anywhere in the breast or bikini area because that's just tacky.

I like distinctive and original tattoos on men.
My best friend has a few and they certainly add to his attrativeness.
I'm not a big fan of tatoos on women.
I think of it as more of a "male thing".
