Chances are had i met him on the "street" then yes i would have probably been attracted to him....just as had he met me in a social atmosphere and started a conversation he may have found himself attracted to me as well....
But that is just the point i am trying to make here....in those scenarios there are not "pre-requisites"....its a spontaneous thing
So to go back to my original question....is having "pre-conceived" ideas of what/whom you are looking for on a dating site a good thing or a bad thing.....
Men are visual. I imagine most men have an idea of what the woman they want should look like. These are just preferences. They're not written in stone. A lot of the women I am attracted to are quite unattractive inside. Sometimes as you get to know someone, the inner beauty starts to show and just dazzles a person. This person may not look at all what you had in your minds eye.
Men are visual creatures...and most women love beautiful things too!
Sometimes that outer appearance does tend to hide unsavoury qualities...and that works in the opposite as well...
Then just for good measure there are those who are very attractive...but others won't get past that to find out that they're are just as "attractive" on the inside....in other words they are treated as mere "objects" of desire rather than caring intelligent beings....
