I still say one of the first rappers was "Blondie" with "Rapture"....lol
I am not really into rap. it mostly sounds all alike, a bunch of run on sentences. It has to be pretty unique and have good music for me to tolerate it..lol

Betcha didn't expect me to jump into this thread LOL afterall I am usually a Chopin sort of girl but I do have my quirks and in music I like most genre's.... as for "rap" I love the Beastie's-does anyone know if they are still doing anything with music or have they retired? and I also like Ludacris for his beats and flow, I LOVE Kanye West but so does everyone else I guess but is he really "rap"?
