first off, I don't think I would have gone out with him in the FIRST place, had there not been some common ground between us............
however, after meeting, IF I felt that there was absolutely no-freaking-way on earth connection....then yes, I would say thanks after the meeting and that was it.........
If he asked to see me again, I would nicely tell him....."hey, you seem like a great guy but NOT the great guy that I am looking for........but thank you for taking the time out to meet......it was fun".........
or something to that effect............

for myself personally....i think the truth is always the better option.....i have made many friends through the internet after meeting for a coffee.........and i am still in contact with them......although it's unfortunate i have not made that big connection.....oh well so be it!!! i value the friends i have made on these sites i have made 2 or 3 excellent friends.......and there was no BS being thrown around .....if i am meant to meet someone on one of these sites.....so be it......if i am not meant to.....thats ok too!!!
