As a rule, I don't drink, however about 2 weeks ago I met this woman and we had gone out to dinner, within the first 10 minutes of being with her, I knew this was just not going to work into a 2nd date. She was very rude, obnoxious and highly argumentative. When the waiter
came over and asked if we'd like something from the bar, I politely asked her if she'd like a belt, she said she thought I didn't drink, and yes, you're right, I wasn't referring to a drink, but I just looked at her and said, well I could sure use a stiff drink right about now. She got the hint and left..and no, not so politely either. I just sat there and smiled, then told the waiter there's been a slight change in plans, and now it'll just be dinner for one, and I'll start off having a coffee.

I think the bottom line is that people can make some very bad choices when under the influence, some just don't know where that line is between good judgement and bad.
Like a lot of lessons this one gets learned the hard way all too often.

This is hard for me to answer as my ex used to get violent when drinking. My dad used to drink and he was always funny.
If I didn't drink so many Ex's, I wouldn't have so many ex's.

I'm Irish........used to drink myself sober when I was young....don't touch the stuff now.Last time I had something to drink was in Edmonton in July had 2 white goose and dr peppers and one pina colada.......all in front of witnesses
Sadly though many people should never touch the stuff,don't know whether it lets the true them out or if it turns them into someone else.
People need to realise the difference between having a drink(1 or 2) and trying to embalm themselves.
Either way NEVER drink and drive.
