I too, love the smell of cut grass. It is so relaxing. I think (As I think real Real hard) That i related it to Dad being home.
And for us back then quality time with dad was minimal. Reasons unknown and if I did know wouldn't discuss.

Yep nothing like the smell of a freshly showered man... with hormones exuding... hee hee...and the smell of freshly warmed massage oil...and beeswax candles... and..
ok i am going to have a cold shower... using my lovely aromatherapy shower gel.. that is really nice.
Smells... love them sooo much except for farts in bed.. but i will leave that argument to another thread...

I have such a lousy memory that whenever a smell has a particular familiarity and really reminds me of something...I am left wondering...
mmm...that reminds me of ? something ? I wonder what it was LOL maybe it is better i don't
But I content myself with aromatherapy and love the smell of candles, massage oils, insense sticks...all those things that make me relax...and remind me of relaxing times
Also love smell of baking - especially if theres a chance of eating said fresh baking while still warm

I love the cologne on men very much and just the fresh smell after rain and freshy mow grass and burning oil while I take a bath with forest music playing with the sounds of wall falls love sitting by them smell the fresh smell of water splashing on you

the smell of rain coming in after a hot day, there something about the smell of rain on the wind that just makes me want to melt.

Im to lazy to cook them myself but when i smell someone elses yum yum.

just thinking about some of the above smells mentioned makes me melt.
I gotta admit though i think there is nothing better than the smell of a baby just after they have been bathed.
got a few perfume smells that stick in my head too, am with you lou on the Joop and i love CK as well.... mmmmm yumy
gotta say i love it when i go home to my mums and she has got something cooking, nothing beats a good meal cooked by my mum, come to think of it the smell of something anyone else is cooking is good, means i don't have to do it...

The smell of a BBQ cooking reminds me of childhood sunday Barbys with my family..........mmmmmmmmmm

Old spice reminds me of my dad ......who died many years ago........
Musk reminds me of my mother.....did they only have this perfume available years ago or what?......lol
And Hugo Boss is my cologne and still makes women look my way whenever I wear.....ha ha ha ha pity thats all they do.....lol

I was in the bank today and as soon as I walked in, I caught wiff of a male and his cologne.. My knees near crumbled. He was wearing JOOP. mmmmmmmm. The smell has so many memories attached to it for me,(no, not even the memory of a man) that I can't help but own 2 bottles of the stuff, and yes, the mens stuff..!!
There is a certain lolly that my daughter eats, and when I can smell it, it reminds me of New Zealand and being at my nans house? I must have had them at her house or something but that smell gets me everytime.
Also,The smell of freshly cut grass reminds me of being at my Aunts farm in NZ too..
I love that it happens. Smelling things is such a quick flashback to wonderful memories (and bad ones too?) and I love it.
Anyone else have certain smells/scents that remind them of certain things?
