not able to put my finger on i strain to listen
and hear
the curtain dance to a soft song from the wind
i venture out into the dark
wet dew from moring grass kiss at my feet
and tall blades of grass begin to tickle the insides of my thigh
i can't move slowly enough
heat from my body creates soft flames
that dance behind my eyes
a slow burn has begun
in the dark forest
i run towards trying to put it out
faster then slower i'm almost there
it gones i am breathless.
i open my eyes you are still asleep
was it a dream
a slow smile slide to your face firehat and all
