I never develop trust over the internet.
Just ain't gonna happen.
I don't trust someone until I've met them, read their body language, spent time with them, gone through some bad times as well as some good, and consistently seen their words and actions coincide.
It's only through time and experience that trust can build.
I'm not saying that I assume everyone on the internet is a big fat liar, but to actually say "I trust that person and would take them at their word." Nope.. not happening until I've spent REAL time with them.
Just ain't gonna happen.

Simple ... If your gut is telling you that something doesn't add up, listen to it and walk away ...
People who do that sort of thing are such good manipulators and mind players that to use your energy to "unravel it" you would have to let yourself be drawn in and the trouble is they can also be very charismatic ... so once you're drawn in it's very difficult to walk away ...

Trusting someone one the internet is a tricky, thin, thin, thin gray line... Fortunately for us we have instinct. And I know when someone is trying to BS me. Just be careful (as I am sure you already are) and you'll be fine

Most people can't handle rejection so they develop a face of lies in order to please those around them. Even their faces online are the same. If everyone got so well along with others then why do they need to come on here to make new friends? Lies, and insecurity is what most people will show online only because they are scared most people won't like them........me on the other hand don't look for real relationships online, just to waste some time when I'm bored.....which is why I can speak my mind without any worries what any of you think of me.

I don't think anyone is the same in real life as they are on the internet.
They simply CAN'T be because the internet only gives us a very tiny snip of a person.

In fact, I'd venture to guess that a lot of people who use their fingers to type "LOL" aren't really 'laughing out loud' at all. They are probably sitting at their desk with a blank expression just typing the letters.
I don't know how they react when they are interupted.
I don't know how they respond when they are smiled at.
Really, when it comes down to it, on the internet we can only learn 2 things from a person:
1. What they want to tell us, and
2. How well they type.
