I love Islamic art and architecture and have wanted to go to Bukhara and Samarkhand (Uzbekistan) for some years now.....I would go in a flash if I ever had enough money left over.
There are 2 countries I've always wanted to go to but friends of mine who actually come from these countries have given me the impression that I wouldn't cope with the noise and dust (Egypt) or the noise and smell (India). I might go anyway.
I keep going back to central Italy - Umbria.I don't know why....
I've started going to places 'cause my friends are going which is not such a good thing as it means I wind up in Prague and Krakow (actually, I've just booked Krakow for Easter), have never really been able to relate to any Northern European country/city....
Who knows,maybe one day.........Samarkhand

I can't think of anywhere in this world I wouldn't go to, I love travel... experiencing new cultures, foods, architecture, art... it is amazing. I've been to 23 countries and can't wait to experience the rest of the world!!!! I'm also a diver and have had the joy of diving in numerous countries, the best diving I've done was in Papua New Guinea, virgin untouched reefs, WW2 wrecks, lots of Sharks... spectacular!
