Thread Topic, just in case its been forgotten.......

Judging by the reaction of my friends on meeting up with any of my past X's, which generally runs along the lines of "Oh my God! I just dont see you with HIM!" (and I began all of them with my eyes tight closed and no advice or opinions)... I am rather inclined to take the advice now.... And to seek out advice in the future, cause I have proved to myself that I lack certain judgement when it comes to choosing anyone for myself!

I keep forgetting my own advice to myself ... seek out the 94yr old retired swiss banker etc etc .....batting stuck jackolantern

hug Sympathise in many ways Smoky ...

In fact was a bit strange like this - when I met up with my present guy (GM), I was visiting my parents and bros and sis and extended family in France... so they all got to meet him almost at the same time ... We kind of all spent 10ish days together (some of the time)

Was very interesting for me to watch for their reactions and listen to "comments" made to me.

Now my parents have already witnessed 2 of my weddings and met another long term ex-partner ...

My Mum doesn't like strangers staying in the house, yet was offering for him to sleep under her roof and as I was leaving to be driven to the airport by new found mate, my Dad who is not easily moved to tears - had tears in his eyes (not of sadness at seeing me go) as his parting words were "it's beautiful to see you like this". yay teddybear
