A Very Funny Fish Story ( Archived) (2)

One of my ex-boyfriends came over...opened my freezer...asked me where I got the five large ziplock bags of smelt...I said I caught them...He said how?...you don't even have a net...I said I borrowed Daddy's...he's picking bags up checking how many are in them...this boyfriend would not take me smelting earlier in the week when they started to run....he said too many guys out there drinking and raising hell...I said but I want to go...well needless to say the following Friday night we went...only I said I would watch since I had a cold....the water was freezing that night and he kept at it pulling out about five measley fish at a time....oh my goodness he said looking in his bucket after about an hour...and falling head over heals in the cold water....I am standing on the bank just laughing too hard with my beer in hand and a roasted hot dog....TO THIS DAY HE DOES NOT KNOW THE Bucket of SMELT was given to me.....
