smoky: No no ... I am not the maternal type - Everyone was afraid when I got pregnant about the sort of mother I would be! I was a terribly ignorant type of mother, very dumb. Not clever like I am now !!!LOL! But these things sort of grow on you, I think, if one can be open to enlightenment?
Another weird thing........
This son is a very "spiritual" sort (not religious) - and has an uncanny sort of affinity to a certain set of numbers. ( This set of numbers represent the police call sign that means "Everything is okay").
This was his "laundry" number at that boarding school - sewn on all his clothes.
When he left school and went into business training this number appeared on most of his official documents.
His first vehicle he bought had this number registration plate.
He was in a road accident, suffered head injuries - his hospital room was this number - everything turned out Okay.
He was offered a job overseas - his flight number?.. the same!
Uncanny too that the particular boarding school he attended provided the exact curriculum his employer was looking for.
He eventually took a deep breath and bought his first apartment in that country - apartment number? The same!
He bought another apartment - in another building - same number - not deliberately chosen, it was the only one available.
He tendered for a huge contract - he was called in for an interview and the prospectus or whatever it is called had that same number - he got the order!
He helped a friend of his wifes`family to find a job - after repeat bad luck - the guy was called to an interview, in a huge complex. My son drove him there - and phoned me to tell me "Guess what number this business office is?" The guy got the job!
When he now phones me with his news - it is always to say "And guess what the number is ........?"
Seems there is more to life ... than what we can see huh?

I had a husband who used to say that too - no such thing as co-incidences. He never seemed to have much "luck" with anything - he was too practical and down to earth for that nonsense. Whenever he had to fly anywhere he would specifically and with a great deal of fuss ask for a seat with extra leg-room - he never ever got it, due to some complicated factors beyond anyones control..... he could never ever even get an upgrade to better seating in business class, and would spend agonising hours of flying.
When I flew, I never asked for a special seat ....I was too curious about what I would get, knowing I would get the perfect seat for me ..... I always got the bulkhead or emergency exit with the extra leg room.
Going to an Income Tax office one day we arrived to a room packed wall to wall with people, our number was in the 80`s and they were only up to the 30`s. He grumbled and moaned and whined. I jokingly said I would contact the Master of the Universe to sort it out in a few minutes. I looked up and found an extra window opened and I was being beckoned by the Tax Advisor! WOW! Somehow husband chose to overlook that "co-incidence" - I was blown away! We were out of that office within 20mins all sorted out!

Friend of mine,a British Pilot,says many times,There are no Co-Incidences,only God-Incidences,and I tend to believe him.When I flew, I never asked for a special seat ....I was too curious about what I would get, knowing I would get the perfect seat for me ..... Yes, and No. He never saw the light - he thought he found it but it was an illusion so remained in darkness - and it seems to get darker yearly. Although we sometimes reminisce over those days - he sorely misses the opportunities that passed him by.

Religion has nothing to do with being Spiritual, and recognising the Road Signs of Life..... jmho ... at least they work for me - when I take the time to recognise them. It gets easier with practice.

Btw, tis not what I "believe" in, tis just the way life goes ...... like a leaf that goes in the direction the wind blows it.... Makes the humdrum of life much more interesting than trying to battle against the direction of the wind, so to speak, and more natural, in a strange way.

I am given numbers as well. I have lived in a few residences with the same house number.
Just before my mother died I was given my birth date 'out of the blue' and other pertinent numbers that meant something important to me. I was with the last two members of my family who live in another state. They decided to relax and rest from the stress and go get something to eat. I was invited to go along but I had this strong need to stay there in the room with mom. While they were gone my mother passed away. I truly feel that I was the one that was to be there when she died.
I would just say to pay attention to the synchronicities and if you possibly can - make a note of
them perhaps classifying them as 'little', large', 'hugh', 'extraordinary' ones.
The more you pay attention the more they happen. They are clues from the universe.
